Motherless Kitten, Bitten and Laid with Eggs by Flies, Near Death, Utters Weak Cries for Help

A tiny kitten, found near death under an apartment, had been bitten by flies and had maggot eggs laid in the wounds. The kitten, Xiaoju, was brought to a hospital, where the medical staff worked tirelessly to remove the maggots and clean his wounds. They used warm water to flush away the eggs, and gently removed the remaining ones with tweezers.

Xiaoju had a rough start, but with the help of the hospital staff, he began to improve. They provided regular feedings, helped him defecate, and comforted him.

After a few days in the hospital, Xiaoju was able to return home. He gradually adjusted to his new surroundings and began to thrive.

Today, Xiaoju is a healthy, playful cat who loves to eat and play with his two feline housemates. He is a testament to the resilience of animals and the power of compassion and care.
